The agent nomination process is a new requirement for all entities with an ABN other than sole traders. Under the new process, you need to nominate an agent in Online services for business before the agent can link to your account. This needs to be done when you:
- first engage an agent to represent you
- ask your existing agent to perform more services
- change agents.
To nominate us as your tax agent, please follow the ATO’s client-to-agent linking steps. Once you’ve submitted your nomination, kindly notify us that we are now authorised to add your business, organisation or SMSF as a client, in order for us to be able to access your accounts and act on your behalf for your tax and super affairs.
